I know it's a bit anal but having transferred about 50 text books to mobi
format I needed a metadata editor and here it is:

Go for version 1.1 and you can work through a whole directory of files.

Works brilliantly, can't seem to get Calibre to do this.

errm what did you need a metadata editor for? (apart from the obvious
- to edit metadata)

Supplementary question :

Wots metadata?

Wots metadata?
The mobi files have additional data in them (metadata) which gives name of
book, author, notes and a heap of other stuff. So it doesn't matter what
the file name is the computer reads the metadata. If you get the file as a
mobi it's already there but if you convert files (as I did from text) you
need to add it.

That's an amazing invention but who would ever want to use one of them?

Oh, okay. I just open 'em and read 'em :-)

I did find the button in the end but it was quicker to use the small
program as you could navigate through a whole directory using the keyboard.
It worked very well!
